I dreamt of you last night—
Leapt in joy, bound within my subconscious mind,
There was a glow, warmth in the air,
You beside me—all felt so fair.
The flair in the breeze,
The scent of sweetness,
My palpating heart-beat,
Your soft smile, your gaze—
Speaking to me from the corner of your eyes.
Mesmerised—as I will always be,
Whether in dreams or in reality,
Your presence meant the world to me,
Like the Cosmos lit, stars burning in glee.
Surrounded by faces unknown to me,
I looked up to you, dazzled to see.
Eager to reach and hold your arms,
Whisper your name—so special, so profound.
Hard it was, as it always is,
To reach you in conscious liberty.
I stood there in gentle, eternal peace
Soothed by your presence,
Transfixed in sheer resonance.
My dream—oh, what a pleasant surprise from you,
I woke up feeling cold, but not blue.
Refreshing it was, if you should know
Those fleeting moments—illusion though.
