Drive Poem by Gbolabo Adetunji

Drive

They are calm when on the winning side
They are not baffled in times of adversity
They are unflustered in times of hardship
They are humble in times of victory

In fortune, they forge ahead,
In failure, they see a lesson
In setbacks, they recharge
In hardship they press harder

People with drive have an internal tick
A private tock that keeps them going
They are oblivious to the tides of life,
Unmoved like a clock amid a rainstorm.
