Droplets Poem by Marisa Unknown

A head-on collision from love at first sight.
It felt as if our love was forever,
but it was only one night.
We step outside,
to see it had rained.
our words had been drenched in nothing but pain.
The sun comes out,
That one painful lie becomes a regret,
as it dries on the sidewalk where we first met.
You walk away slowly as it starts to snow.
My eyes have started to over flow.
All because of that one painful lie that began to grow.
