Duality Poem by Reverend Jarrod Plantagenet-Capet

Duality

I keep my head down
Not caring to be seen
The life of the party
You're it's heart beat

Incognito
I'm back in the cut
Laying it down
You're just hamming it up

I love to hover
Under cover of night
You are a lover
Who loves the spotlight

I pour noir
Wine just out of sight
You are star shine
In the limelight

The man behind the curtain
The face of a generation
The catalyst of springs to fall
Upon this lamentation.

Duality
POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
As I grew old, lost my hair & became a fuddy-duddy...I devolved as a reverse chrysalis who pupated into a caterpillar hiding from prying eyes of birds of prey.
