Each Day, Every Morning! Poem by Usha Sri

Each Day, Every Morning!

Each day, every morning!

Each day, every morning,
comes the sleek elegance beaming and gleaming,
Peeking through the window
with its tippytoe on to my gazebo.
Pretty suave, is the swaying and dancing
Nothing less to some spectacular painting,
Of those Sun kissed tree tops,
and blossoming buds in the flower pots.
Hitting the green roofs and greeting the streets,
Into my home through the curtain pleats
Glimmering the grass of my emerald lawn
Shimmering the pond to smack every lotus that spawn.
Snazzy Sun shimmying the sparrows and the bees,
swooning the Poodles and the Siamese.
Waning the frost on the window panes,
waking my boy with warmth and gaze.
Glass of milk just enough for my son and the Sun,
seems fun had just begun.
