Easy - Poem by Kitty Marie Lucas

shut the doors
and ask me down
a no is
as good as the ground

why was i so pretty
that they couldn't stop themselves?

my will to break
my form to hate
for now they know
not what they take

they say 'such a pity'
but they'll never know my hell

strangely was
i taught to love
a victim
child is what i was

i'd like to see you judge me
for the stories i won't tell
