Echoes Of Hampi

Echoes of Hampi
With the bright sun's eternal gaze,
Hampi's stone sculptures glow in golden haze,
Stone boulders carefully carved in time and by hand
A dream that turns surreal and etched across the land
Ruins remain speak of the empires soared!
The visible silence fill the halls where kings once roared!
In every chisel's kiss echoes a sculptor's song
The walls and ruins filled with Gods to belong!
Temple towers adore the earth and skies
Pinnacles like prayers, that never dies!
Dancing beauty and grace, of the lotus pillars!
The rhyme and rhythm of stone in places! ! !
River Tunga flowing with its gentle warmth
Telling us untold tales that Hampi silently holds!
The skies with twilighting stars and flowing flames
Deeply echoing and reminding vijayanagar's name!
Monkey grabbing our bags from arches behind old
Market lanes, looking at us, once lined up with gold!
The folklore that once ancestors and legends knit
The stones that weave stories, like penance in which sages sit!
Serene, divine and mesmerizing Virupaksha
The sentinel of the divine sacred line!
Once roared with Hemakuta's descending steps
Dreams that weaved as dancing stones in leaps!
The past still sings its divine glory in Hampi
Of Saints, Kings, Empires, Poets vanished
Every photographer's charm and delight
As they capture every corner under their light
As the years go by, many rise and fall
The soul and song of Hampi outlives all!
