Eddie My Dear Poem by Karin Holloway

Eddie My Dear

Rating: 5.0

Eddie my dear
This relationship's queer.
Things will turn
It will change
We'll rearrange our lives.
I shall be Isis
And you, Osiris, as
We weave our fate enchained.
Bound and blind in the cave,
You think Jesus was saved,
I'm sure our free will's gone -
For passion has come and
I might be undone
By the way I've tried to believe.
We're two different worlds,
Compactly insane,
Can we merge and not be hurt?
The pain that we'll feel
Will be just as real
As the pleasure divinely now.
