between sleep and animal vitality.

Wind and Tradition: the suspension
of disbelief
after the tucking of claws.

Masculinity: dogged willfulness
of the low-centered spirit.
Favors gravity in all its bounty.
Stiffly avoids climbing trees.
Jealously guards causal continuity
and context.

Femininity: unsparing spirit.
Resilient; avoids premeditation.
Contours itself to the moment.
Will spontaneously climb
to any height to escape the mundane.
Refuses to cling in order to evolve.
Saves the subject
from the bounds of context.
