Embalmed Poem by MICHAEL VILANOVA

Embalmed

Embalmed by yesterday's regrets and sorrows
Many days past but ill never see tomorrow
Bright round sun and moon hangs in the sky
Another day passes but please do not cry
Laughter and smiles a childhood dream
Mourn not for me there's nothing here to redeem
Eternal yesterday's society likes to call it the past
Deceiving bright sun and moon how long can today last
