Emotions, like a raging sea
Inside us, they constantly churn
They can be joyous, they can be bleak
But they always leave their burn
Happiness, like a warm embrace
Filling our hearts with light
It can make us sing and dance
And guide us through the darkest night
Love, a sweet and tender feeling
That makes our hearts flutter with grace
It can make us feel so alive
And take us to a magical place
Anger, like a burning fire
Consuming us with its heat
It can make us lash out in rage
And leave us feeling incomplete
Sadness, a heavy weight
That weighs us down with sorrow
It can make us feel so lost
And pray for a better tomorrow
Fear, a gripping emotion
That paralyzes us with dread
It can make us doubt and hesitate
And fill us with unending dread
These emotions, they define us
They make us who we are
They shape our thoughts and actions
And guide us near and far
So embrace these emotions
In all their forms and hues
For they make us human
And give us a different view.
