Encaptive Poem by Radi Junior

Encaptive

I've felt the loneliness that burns
I've seen the darkness taking turns
With no power forced to wait
The only thing I had was faith.

Didn't wait for my world to change
Embraced the filth and cramming space
There I hummed through day and night
The revelations that gave me might.

Hit my knees with crippling pain
I shouted still they had no name
Shackled legs didn't mean to run
I knew a day will surely come.

I heard the humming sound that grows
Taking on the tyrant's shows
Throwing words at iron gate
Soon, I said, you'll see your fate.
