Enchantment Poem by Zevanda Borjon

Enchantment

with each sky that sets
he sits in his room
drowning in darkness
trapped in this tomb

he thinks of the past
because it hurts him so
the ones that he loved
turned him into this foe

he wants to give up
and the pain to go away
anger in his mind
he wants them to pay

hhow dare they hurt im
and rip him in two
rage and sadness
theres nothing he can do

a struggle at first
he comes to his feet
he wont let this hurt him
nor let them claim defeat

he opens the door
and the sun burns his eyes
hoping the light of a new day
wont bring anymore lies

with nothing to live for
she came into his life
calming his nerves
and ceasing all strife

holding his hand with hers
she showed him what love could be
something that before
he couldnt see

she gave him the gift of love
as he gave her his heart
embracing each other
in thelight of a new start

never has she fallen
for anyone so true
the love in her heart
this feeling is new

her life is a tradgety
locked away inside
all chance for emotions
hid away and died

all thats left is anger
from the unwritten years
no longer will she dwell
on the unshed tears

she carries hope in her pocket
and an angel in her heart
she prays to the skies
that they wont drift apart

for he showed her love
like no ne else could
now they'll last forever
likr true love should
