Engulf Me; I Surrender Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Engulf Me; I Surrender

the piercing eyes I got lost in
the delicate touch I keep coming back for
the lustful kiss that poisoned me
the warmth that gripped at my soul
the cavernous embrace that made me one with you
the sinful words you whispered in my ear

I ripped the Earth in two
your mouth sealed me shut
my tears feel warm
this pain is my salvation
I won’t close my eyes
our truth is better than theirs
engulf me; to you I surrender.
