I have been a target for far too long,
The constant taunts, the cruel words they flung,
I tried to be strong, to just brush it off,
But my heart couldn't handle, the pain and the scoff.
They called me names, laughed at my looks,
I felt like an outcast, a character from books,
I tried to fit in, to please their desires,
But no matter what, they still lit my fires.
But enough is enough, I won't take it anymore,
I refuse to be a victim, that they can ignore,
I won't let their words, define who I am,
I'll stand up tall, and show them I can.
I'll use my creativity, to fight back with grace,
To show them that bullying, has no place,
I'll write powerful words, and paint vibrant art,
To show them that I am more than their dart.
I'll spread kindness and love, wherever I go,
And stand up for those, who feel just as low,
I'll be a voice, for those who can't speak,
And make a change, that they'll never seek.
I won't let their darkness, dim my light,
For I am a warrior, ready to fight,
I'll rise above, their hurtful ways,
And show them that love, always outweighs.
So to all the bullies, I have this to say,
Your words may hurt, but I won't sway,
For I am enough, just the way I am,
And I won't let you dim my shine, I am damn.
Enough with the tears, enough with the pain,
I am strong, and I'll rise again,
No more hiding, no more fear,
For I am enough, and my voice they'll hear.
For I'm overly qualified for forever adhesive reign.
