Entering Heaven Poem by Cindy Wyatt

Entering Heaven

When your life on earth is over
and you enter Heaven at last
All your pain and suffering
will then be in the past
When you take that final walk
and step onto the golden shore
There will be more joy and gladness
than you've ever known before
What a day of victory and triumph
when you look in the face of God's son
and realize it was worth it all
that you stayed in the race you had run

When we think of those faithful saints
who have gone to their abode above
may their testimony spur us on
to serve Jesus with more and more love

Written in memory of a very dear lady who served the Lord faithfully for many years in spite of great bodily affliction.

Hebrews 12: 1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.
