Entwined
There is hope
dancing with the fear
there is no one
without the other
love cannot be known
unless there is hate
joy will not be found
until the aftermath of something
horrific and profound
dark needs
the light
as
day
needs the night
without the opposite
its counter would not
exist
and shyly
in secret
they would be missed
