Swallows hastily fly off,
As I approach,
Ocean water turns back,
As it touches my toes.
Beach sand moves away down,
As it saves my feet,
Like them, you drew away,
As I fell in love.
Now as I move further in the ocean,
The swallows return,
The water envelopes me,
The sand stands firm,
You also accept me,
Standing there on firm sand,
Enveloped by water.
Seeing the swallows,
Everything so beautiful,
So complete,
I realize shockingly,
All is false,
Happiness of that moment was,
Momentary,
Transitory,
As your love,
So ephemeral.
