'Epiphany Moment' Poem by Manuelito Pio Roda

'Epiphany Moment'

I belong to the flock of birds
caught by a wildfire.
Feared havoc, it hindered the
seed to grow.
Mind turned into a mountain
wilderness,
then bitterness filled the soul.

Cut myself open to be awaken.
Uncovered the essence of living.
Realized that the dark times
keeps me breathing.

Now I am resilient enough to
engage life.......
