i'm pissed i'm not able to join bob and arthur
for the 10K cancer run
because my nan has special needs but
the buffet after is elegant with delights
exclusively organically grown to guarantee
all the rest of us will live cancer free

damn shame nan can't keep her food down
cuz the free-range chicken with apricot gastrique is a blast
as we explore a complex and richly structured wine
with the aroma of peach and vanilla
with lip-puckering tartness and an undertone of alfalfa honey
followed up by pistachio gelato


cath and barbara shaved their heads
for a kick in nan's honor
the guys think their babes are a riot
as all of us get soused
but i'm schmoozing barbara
because she is delicious with
a naked head and a profile like nefertiti


we all avoid nan because
she looks like an old bald man
with just a few coarse hairs
poking
out of her chin
