Eva And Adam Poem by Justin Gildow

Eva And Adam

I sit alone at a table
Washing down an iced tea
And not that far away from me
There sitting across from one another
True star crossed lovers
Eva and Adam

Eva and Adam leave the restaurant
They walk along holding hands
From what I see, the two of them
They're lovers that are one of a kind
And in each other they understand
The many things along with love and life that they hold in their hands

They stop by the bridge
They stand at the side
I stand under the bridge

They're perfect for one another
They show their love and affection
From not too far away
I listen and pay attention

No matter what happens
The two of them are always there for each other
