Even When Gos Is Silent Poem by ART PAUL SCHLOSSER

Even When Gos Is Silent

When the Lord is silent, I will praise him
When life's problems seem louder then scripture
And hope seems hopeless I will still trust God
Though I may question and doubt I know I must hold on
In time God will speak though it may not be the words I want to hear
I know that God's will is best and where else can we run
All the pleasures in the world can not satisfy our empty heart
And what is more depressing then relying on an empty glass to fulfill our thirst
The World with all its offering is but a mirage
Fool's Gold
A promise never fulfilled
Even if you win the lottery it can't buy you eternal life nor love
It may bring you friends but those type of friends usually leave when the moneys gone
So even if God is silent, I will praise him
His word gives me hope
And I have everything I need trusting him
