Every Time - Poem by Moon Child

every time i start to think things will be alright
you come up again
making me feel like crap
sneaking into my thoughts
making me wish i could die
the suffocating fear
the gasping pain
clawing out of me
making me remember
again and again
why cant i remember
maybe if i remember it all will go away
the nightmares
the flashbacks
i was so LITTLE!
you hurt so MANY!
how could YOU?
why did YOU?
why me?
what did i do wrong?
someone help me
i need help
i just want it to go away
why wont it go away?
why did you hurt me like that?
grandfather why did you touch me like that?
why wont you die so i dont fear anymore?

This is a frightening and powerful piece of writing, one hopes (grandfather) isn't in the picture now... (Report) Reply
