Everyday Poem by Nicholas Hrynchuk

Everyday

Everyday I see you,
My heart pounds,
There are no sounds,
And I feel my smile widen

The struggles I see,
They push me down,
And never leave me,
Until I see your smile

I talk to you everyday,
And I don't want to miss one,
I feel something missing if I don't,
And sometimes try,
But my heart just won't

I wish that everyday,
I wouldn't fear,
That maybe you'd not want to be my friend,
Or that you'd leave me

You said that you love me,
But you wrote a poem,
Saying you should have followed your head,
And I read one saying you followed your heart,
And your head said to stay my friend

I'm so stupid! ,
To think this would last,
You probably found better,
How hard can that be?
