Everything Poem by Alistair Graham

Everything

Rating: 5.0

Was black as hell outside
The glass in the back door
reflected me
I couldn't see through

I pulled the door, open
A man stood before me
in the dark
He screamed in my face

I want your money
I don't have any, I said

I want your wife
She couldn't love you, I said

I want your children
You couldn't afford them, I said

I want your house
It's not mine, I said

I want your soul
Your too late, I said

What have you got
Everything, I said
