Evil Eyes - Poem by Feyisayo Anjorin
Evil eyes, a shinning light on fragile beauty,
Sour fruits of human curiosity,
Signs of approval like addictive music,
Oppressive bondage in the cloaks of security.
Evil eyes and its seed of benefit,
Ponder on the timeliness of the planets,
Dwelling on the fantasies of heresies
Births a fall with destructive violence.
Evil eyes and its bewitching attraction,
Smile in my season of fruitfulness,
It is a justification for your essential function,
The power of your lasting youthfulness.
