Exhaustion Poem by angelica dela cruz

Exhaustion

Sweat trickling
wetness between my limbs.
My head
is too light,
my body drags
harder.
Each step is a knife
tearing into weary
muscles.
Arms too heavy;
eyes too weak,
blinded by sweat.
It blurs
these colorless walls.
