Magdalene Carmen

Expiry - Poem by Magdalene Carmen

sooner or later my body
will be worm-eaten unlike
your venerable guitar
that shall never perish
in its mummy-box under
your bed unless one purposeful
cigarette butt makes an arsonist
of you. while i am undead,
use your common sense.
