By Mohammad A. Yousef
In the quiet theater of her gaze,
where worlds collide and dreams take flight,
there lie the lashes,
like delicate whispers of silk,
framing the windows of her soul.
Each lash, a brushstroke of artistry,
dancing in the light,
casting shadows on the canvas of her cheeks,
a fluttering curtain of mystery,
inviting the heart to linger,
to gaze deeper, to lose itself in the depths.
Oh, how they arch like the crescent moon,
defying gravity,
with a grace that speaks of sunlight,
and the soft caress of evening breezes.
They curve,
spiraling towards the heavens,
each one a tiny promise,
a testament to the beauty of existence.
When she blinks,
time suspends its relentless march,
and in that fleeting moment,
the world holds its breath,
captured by the enchantment,
the fleeting magic of her presence.
They sway like reeds in a gentle stream,
each flutter a delicate sigh,
a poet's muse, a lover's sigh,
drawing the eye,
pulling the heart,
like tides responding to the moon's pull.
In the warmth of her laughter,
they shimmer,
sparkling like stars caught in twilight,
reflecting the joy that spills from her lips,
the melodies woven in the fabric of her smile.
And in the quiet depths of her sorrow,
they too bow,
heavy with the weight of unspoken words,
a silent testament to the storms she's weathered,
the heartaches that linger,
clinging tenderly like morning dew.
With every glance, they tell stories,
of laughter shared beneath sun-drenched skies,
of tears that danced like raindrops on petals,
of dreams woven in the fabric of hope,
and the fierce beauty of resilience.
Eyelashes,
not mere embellishments,
but the very essence of her beauty,
a poetry written in the language of light and shadow,
a symphony of softness,
that speaks to those who dare to look,
who dare to see beyond the surface,
to the heart,
to the soul,
where true beauty resides,
and where every flutter is a heartbeat,
echoing the truth of her existence.
So let them speak,
let them whisper the secrets of her spirit,
for in their delicate embrace,
lies the story of a woman,
a masterpiece,
a dance of light,
a celebration of life.
