Stubbornly it sticks to it's host
Devouring the nutrients earned in labour
Gulping the water fetched from deep below
It blossom off the helpless host
Vandalizing the dream of fine productivity
It came uninvited and wreck havoc
Entangling itself with an unlucky branch
And drains the nutrients from there
The roots laboured hard to supply food
But the blossoming leaves of the parasite
Is all to show for its diligent toiling.
