Fable Poem by Okello Baloyi

Fable

Love is overrated, my peers been pealing onions from day one, there's no enliven but full of disrespect, lying, using one another, while they are ageing only to graduate as manipulators.

I'm really not good at love nor at being single, such addictive fantasy which I can't unlearn, let alone many had died in the name of love, and others are victims facing mental disorders, thus my anxiety just kicked in!

I never thought I'd be fumbling on broken hearts, tryna find unconditional love, in return leaving too much heart's wounds, loyalty can't be traded, as I became a visionless slave of love, mystery game for survival.
