Face Poem by Tajma Hall

Face

you are so lovely
as one counts the moon
so ahunger am I
as one with no spoon
by many a fairy tale
life has less room
to suck me blind
of having sight of you
I crawl around with little spaces
making room with only glimpses
of all the moments I spent
glaring in your face
I shield not from cold nor from the night
the light of your love and the guided
shield of your face
