Face In The Mirror Poem by Miranda Van Yperen

Face In The Mirror

Rating: 5.0

As I look
I do not see

In the mirror
Was not me

The person I
Thought I knew

Scared me silly
It must be you

The smile
On her flawless face

If that's me
Your out in space

The girl
You all know

Can't be me
But when I go

She would follow
My every step

I stare blankly
She's full of pep

The person you
Want me to be

Well, that's the person
That I see
