Face To Face With The Jaquio Poem by Justin Gildow

Face To Face With The Jaquio

I've traveled many miles
Either by running or flying
To reach the Temple Of Darkness

In the darknened room
I'm face to face with The Jaquio
And I know he's the one running the show here
The Kelbeross lies sleeping in the corner
The Jaquio knows what I have
But I won't give it to him

He smiles confidently
He laughs evily
Saying to me ' I'll have no choice '

He's waiting to bring back the demon
I tell him ' you're crazy '
But he tells me ' wait and see '
The moon isn't making it any easier for me tonight

Face to face with The Jaquio
Our words hit each other here and there
As we try to find each other's weaknesses and fears

Finally
It seems he's had enough of me
So he says to me ' Have a nice day '
And he operates a trap door
Sending me plummeting into the darkness
His evil laughter not that far behind

Landing on a stone floor
The Jaquio and I will meet again
We'll meet each other at the very end
