Fade away

I wanna fade away
Without taking the blame
I wanna steal the stars
So you could see how much I care

I would take the fall
I would take it all

I wanna throw the past
Out the door
I wanna see my friends
Stand up tall
They need to know I love them all

You made me smile
And you drove the miles

I wanna run away
From all the this pain
I wanna know how
Your life goes

I will be the sunrise
On your window
I will be the memory
That lives through it all

I will be that photo on the wall
That will soon fall to the floor
And the regrets will take time but
You won’t feel them at all

Life goes fast so
Don’t live in the past
Take the steps
And all your forgets
Leave them all
