Faded Shadows Poem by Blanche Hardin

Faded Shadows

Formally known,
A secret not shown.
Lies kept to secure a plot,
A plot to leave a body to rot.
The scheme spoiled,
Leaving to blame the ones who remained loyal.
In the midst of the treason,
Without a reason.
A promise made,
To lets that shadows of their past fade.
