Fading Shadow
I was unknown to the light she brought
till it dimmed and faded away
Now in the shadows i walk,
where once your light had paved my way
The world is dark and quiet
yet, within me, a storm won't cease
waves of words echo in my ear,
the words that i never spoke
I see the darkness
I feel the storm
I see the shadow cast by love
And I see the thunder that only whispers to me
