Fading Vision Poem by Mary Champion

Fading Vision

I'm losing sight of
My hopes and dreams,
Of myself
And Reality.
The pupil can no longer see
The point of the exercise
Or the light at the end of the tunnel.
Every view is superimposed upon the other.
I can focus on no-one,
Not even myself.
Seeing everything,
I distinguish nothing.
