Failure Poem by William B. Deutscher

Failure

Bamboozled,
ready to plunge.
Limp refusal.
Squeezed like a sponge.
Stripped with ease,
stroked and teased.
All your nuance,
Bedroom taunts,
playing games
in darkened room;
more of the same
deepening gloom.
Naked in thrall,
taken for all,
falling down
on the town.
