Faint-Hearted - Poem by Andreas Vanezis

A Star falls.
Halting through,
Dark halls.

It's cold
It's untold.
The Same Old.

Take 1,
Not 1000s.
An up rise,
The front line,
A Lion.
So distant,
From Zion.

What life brings.
lost Angels,
With burnt wings.
For each song,
A soul grieves.
Safe hands,
Born thieves.

To lust,
The future,
For hire.
A cauldron,
A fire.
Life breeds,
A liar.
