Faint-Hearted Poem by Andreas Vanezis

Faint-Hearted

Rating: 5.0

Spellbound,
A Star falls.
Halting through,
Dark halls.

It's cold
It's untold.
Controlled,
The Same Old.

Take 1,
Not 1000s.
An up rise,
Horizon.
The front line,
A Lion.
So distant,
From Zion.

Realize,
What life brings.
lost Angels,
With burnt wings.
For each song,
A soul grieves.
Safe hands,
Born thieves.

To lust,
Desire.
The future,
For hire.
A cauldron,
A fire.
Life breeds,
A liar.
