Fairy World Poem by Nightshade Starlight

Fairy World

Rating: 4.5

I lay under the fairy tree that's made a natural arch of trees.
The branches are connecting with another,
And they are both arched so its like a doorway,
To another world, to another life.

I lay under its branches and let the shade keep away the sun.
The air is cool and it sounds of humming wings,
Is it just my imagination, I think as I slowly start to dream,
Are there flying things going around my head?

As I dream, I can see someone standing next to me,
His hair gold almost like he is wearing a halo.
His eyes like a fire that bore into my own.
He puts out his hand, beckoning for me to come to him.

I take his hand without a word and he takes me
Somewhere where its not cold, nor hot.
A perfect reality with dreams and fantasies.
Fairies are flying, dreams are coming true.

I smile and look back to see my form laying against the tree.
Sleeping away, with a shallow breath,
Her eyes are closed and her face at peace as she shakes,
From the bitter cold that has surround her.

The boy smiles at me, with dancing flaming eyes,
'Do you want to go back? ' he asked in a musical voice.
'Do you want to go back to that life that you once lived,
Where these dreams are blank to the world you are now in? '

I look at the boy with a sudden dread, something twisting and turning.
Whatever is happening, it is my choice
To choose which world I decide to go to.
The life I lived, to the magical place of the fairies.

I wrap my hand tightly around the boys own and look into his eyes,
His smile is like a rush of heat, wrapping around me.
He leads me into a world of a different reality,
And leaves the body in the bitter cold as we go to
