A mother in distress
A broken heart
I questioned my faith
To god I must confess
To watch a mother stand over her child's grave
A life destroyed
Left to suffer
Her son's touch is all she will ever crave
Tears followed by questions
Questions that will be forever left unanswered
What do you do god
For those who are living
But have already died inside
Explain to me how they will ever find peace of mind
I saw that same mother fall to her knees
Clinging to all that was left
Memories
A wilting rose
Lays upon the child's grave
Each petal that falls signifies her pain
I question my faith this very day
You gave us the gift of life
But what right do you have to take it away?
