Faking Poem by Helen Vorst

Faking

There are many jewels in life
Which're nobly hard, their glow is bright
But along there are some proved mistakes
No quality of masterpiece, just grievous fakes.

Well-stated confidence they have to simulate
Bluff outer form beholds some faith
Find fence in shaping images like clay
Forever sentenced to the faking play!
