Fall Apart. Poem by Victoria Peacee

I haven't been this scared in awhile
its feels almost impossible to even smile
Daddy has to go
all because his job tells him so
Mommy might be sick
with Cancer & if not will be at high risk

Two and half hours away
is where he'll have to stay
& In this economy theres nothing else to do
but wait and hope another job opening will come soon
So we'll just have to sit and pray
that it'll all work out one day

& She might be very ill
it won't just be something you can solve with any pill
It would be Cancer, the scariest word
one of the scariest I've ever heard
Those test results i pray will say you do not
but either way I still love you a lot

The future worries me
i have no idea what this will all come to be
