Fallen Poem by Brenda Caldera

Fallen

Laying down from all the pain
Fighting all my temptations
Screaming out this aching breeze
Which destroys me from the inside

Struggling to break through the darkness
Bleeding out my tears
Yelling out with such force
Which no one seems to care

Crawling away from my reflection
Which I detest to see
Disgust by the figure of my nature
And the weakness of my human being

Dragging me around the floor
Trying to release my soul
Holding tight on what I could see
Refusing to set free what I have owned

Shrieking all I have left in me
Failing to stay in track
As it pulls away my spirit
It kills all my everlasting lies

Luring me out to my eternal life
Banned by the decision I could of made
Sleeping in a place so called home
And fallen to my own domestic animation
