Fallen Babylon Poem by Paul Simbi

Fallen Babylon

Rise rise
the people of Babylon
For this day a child is born
his names are hunger, starvation,
Poverty,
Corruption
Ruthless
And
Lucifer.

A great nation is doomed,
Fallen Fallen is Babylon
A great nation has fallen.
A great nation full of abomination
and immorality

Rise my people
fight against tyranny,
fight against corruption
For the great nation is at the verge of collapsing.

Chaotic days,
filled with torture,
instability

Raise your voice girl child,
so that you can be heard.
Cry out loud girl.
Babylon had betrayed your womanhood

Rise!
Don't be shaken
Or don't be taken

The Great Nation Has Fallen.

The mermaid has farted on our mouth.
