Fallen Guardians - Poem by Connor Brown

I see the night's awakening
The days end
And at the end
I see not what the human race
set out to complete
but even further from
What they'd planned
The people say:
Change now -
Save lives in this world
And at the beginning
Of the night a'new
I see the end of possibilities
O'er the moon shining down
Upon those who failed
To protect it
