Fallen Star Poem by inashi gamage

Fallen Star

Rating: 3.0

Glimmering eyes like shinning water
when the sun dives up through the hills.
The tears that fall from a tigress,
for a falling star.
weapons are no-more held,
warriors knelt before the fallen star
thanking him with blessings.
While the golden rays of the the star
receding to the eternity.
wet red eyes, saying good bye to the star
subduing her deadly pain,
thanking him for making her dreams true
while holding him tightly to her chest.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
A long time ago where legends lived all they had was swords and bows to protect their people. how many lovers were lost how many were in pain. it's an uncountable loss.
