Falling Night Poem by Alexander Foald

Falling Night

The night has fall again
Upon the face of this stupid huge scene
I can’t count how many times I failed
Since the two of us met at this place

I tried so hard to reach the height
Where you always put your heart away
While it might be best if I could warm it
You seemed never know what to say

And now it feels like ages
Since you built a cold mountain inside
If only you could see back on my face
I will be the one you can lean on to
