Family - Poem by Scarlett Treat

LIFE - It's never just all about me,
But the Circle Of Connections we share...

You enrich me,
Making me wealthy
With life's untold blessings.

You bring me joy
When all about me
Are sad and brokenhearted!

You make me smile
As you laugh
With me - and at me!

You bring me wise counsel,
Making me better
Each and every day.

You help me survive
When times
Are the worst.

You entertain me,
Saving me
The cost of a movie!

You encourage me,
Bringing me up
When I am down.

You sympathize with me
When I
Am in trouble.

You connect me
To the wide, wide world
When I am alone.

You support me
When my steps falter
And I fall short of my goals.

You teach me, be example,
How to become
A much better woman, and

You guide me,
Through life's tangled maze,
Showing me the way home.

Some Family you are born with,
But some, if you are lucky, you find,
Flying beside you, wingtip to wingtip,
Together through the bright blue sky.

You are never alone,
Left to face life....
Not, at least, as long
As you have Friends
By your side.

Oh what a glorious piece! a thousand times yes. But of course YOU are first and foremost in achieving that which you attribute to others in this wonderful tribute. t x (Report) Reply
